Manners & Obedience

For young dogs from 5 to 18 months 

We help you get through those trying adolescent times, learning what is to be expected, how to deal with behavior issues that come and go, and to build those manners every dog must have.

1 hour per week for 4 weeks = $132

Is your dog a consistent puller and always at the end of the leash? Do you get dragged from one sniff spot to another or does your dog rush and pull to meet a person or another dog? Do you have the opposite problem where your dog "pancakes" (stops and flattens itself) and refuses to move along with you?  This 4 week class will cover proper leash handling skills so taking your dog for a walk is enjoyable for you both. 

1 hour per week for 4 weeks = $132

For beginning learners aged 18 months and up. 

This is your first class to learn the basics and lay the foundation for important manners skills all dogs should have.

1 hour per week for 4 weeks = $132

For those who have completed our Manners, Level 1 or our Puppy, level 3 course and wish to strengthen and fine-tune the training they've put into place.  This is also a great choice for those who may be considering the CGC titles

1 hour per week for 4 weeks = $130

Pre-requisite is Manners, level 2

or comparable experience.

Teams must be proficient with basic manners.

Emphasis is on building and improving advanced skills

1 hour per week for 4 weeks = $128

Practice, improve and perfect formal obedience skills.  Leash walking/formal heel, keeping place through distractions, formal staying positions for sit, down and stand.  Beautiful reliable recalls and recalls with halts.  This is a great class for teams who compete, service dogs in training or anyone with advanced handling skills. Class is held in a different public setting each week.

1 hour per week for 4 weeks = $132

Can you take your dog anywhere confident he will represent the best of canine manners?  This class prepares you for the Canine Good Citizen , CGCA and CGCU tests in order to achieve the AKC titles.   Teams should already be proficient in basic manners skills. If not, please enroll in our Manners, level 1 or level 2 class (depending on your skill-set) 

  1 hour per week for 4 weeks = $132

 Test and refine your dog's obedience skills.  Work off-leash in an increasingly distracting environment.  This class is for advanced teams only.  Dogs must free of reactivity, social and have an excellent grasp of basic obedience skills.
